An hour later, the party was in full swing. The adults were gathered in the kitchen gabbing while the mini-groups of Mikey and Sally, Karyn and Jon, Zoe and Athena, and Biff and Sarah all stayed as far away from each other as possible while staying near the snacks in the kitchen. Karyn looked at Jon and quietly said, "This sucks. Why couldn't we just go somewhere else?"
Jon looked at Karyn and smiled. "Oh, don't worry about it. In fact, I think this party is about to get really interesting..." As soon as Jon said it, Karyn brightened up. She was no longer worrying about the party being fun. Jon didn't notice as he turned to make sure everybody heard him. "Everybody, listen to me!" Jon began. Immediately, all conversation stopped as listening to Jon sounded like a very good idea. "These game nights aren't always fun for everybody," Jon began, "But I have an idea that will make it fun. We should all play strip poker. And everybody should try really hard to win!"
There was a short pause as moral beliefs were realigned. Then, everyone's faces lit up as they came into the dining room. Strip poker sounded like a great idea!
