Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and a woman from the other side of it said "Zane, it's time to wake up."
"Zane? What she fuck is she ..." Zoe stopped talking almost immediately. Her voice, something was wrong with her voice. She slowly tilted her head down towards her body, and nearly screamed at the sight.
She was no longer a girl. She was a boy. And a muscular one at that. Realization came to her as she figured out that this was her room. She was the jock.
She slowly got out of bed. It felt so strange having a boy's body. Then she stood in front of the bedroom mirror.
The body belonged to a jock, that was for sure. It was similar to the bodies of Biff Meadows, Tom Welles, or Randy Goodman. Zoe hated all of those guys. They treated her and her friends so badly, she wished that they would just drop dead.
But the face on her new body was her own. She hadn't switched bodies with someone. She had literally switched genders and lifestyles with someone else. But who did she switch with?
She didn't recognize that woman's voice, so it was definitely not her mother. But it seemed that she was someone's mother. But whose?
Meanwhile, back at Jon's house, Zoe's "replacement" was just waking up.
