It was amazing. Weird, but amazing. Mike hadn't even passed Geometry yet. In fact, he wasn't even really doing that well in Geometry, only getting a C average. But now in his new math class, which was Trigonometry (one step up), he was acing it. It was like his intelligence had gone through the roof. It was so strange that he could so easily grasp all of this math. He started to wonder why he was having such a hard time with it before.
Too bad he couldn't keep his old life. He was never really interested in being smart, but if it could have been this effortless to keep his grades up, his chances for getting a college scholarship would have been much higher.
As the teacher lectured, Mike looked down at his flabby body. Biff had told him to suck it up and try to get back to normal, but Mike didn't think he could do it. If he was as thin as Biff, then maybe. But not like this.
And the weird thing was, he started to not care that he was overweight. He knew that sounded really odd. How could someone not care that they're so overweight that they can barely move around without breaking into a sweat? But that's how it was. And it seemed that that's how it would always be.
