When Chris entered the school, he saw Mike trying to lift Biff off the floor.

"What happened?" he asked them.

"He tried to fight Jay Duncan. And he lost," Mike explained.

Once Biff got to his feet, he shrugged Mike off of him. "I can stand."

"Well, that was stupid," Chris said. "You're not as strong as you used to be."

"You think I don't know that?" Biff asked.

"Well, if you didn't know then, you know now," Mike commented.

Biff glared at him. "Listen. This is just temporary. I wasn't born with muscles, you know. It will take time, but I can get them back. And then maybe I can get some of my life back. I'm not living out the rest of my life as a geek."

"Yeah, I suppose," Mike said.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"It means that maybe it'll be easy for you, but look at me. I'm fat. And I have a feeling that this won't go away."

"What's with you?" Biff asked. "You never gave up so easily before."

"You don't understand. I've got ... eating issues."

"Eating issues?"

"I eat a lot, okay? I can't seem to stop myself. I've never felt like this before. I've got no will power. It's becoming increasingly difficult to fight these urges. I'm scared that I might be turning into what that Drullers kid used to be, physically and mentally. Don't you feel anything like that?"

"No. Definitely not," Biff said, and that was the truth.

"I do," Chris said.

"What?" asked Biff.

"Yeah. I know it sounds strange, but I'm feeling more comfortable like this. I mean, I want to be normal again, but this doesn't seem to be as bad as I first thought."

"Are you insane?" Biff asked. "Look at us. You and me are weaklings and Mike is a fat slob. No offense, Mike. How could this be okay?"

At that moment, Randy approached them. It almost looked as if he were crying.

"What happened to you?" Biff asked.

Randy sniffled. "I almost got beat up."

"Biff has you beat there. He did get beat up," Chris said.

Biff pushed Chris, then let Randy continue. "It was Steve."

"Steve Farber?" Biff asked. "Aren't you guys best friends?"

"Not in this place. Now he's friends with Schmuckmeyer." A tear fell from his eye.

"Are you crying?" Biff asked, astonished. Randy had never cried in his life, at least not in front of anyone. After he sniffled again, Biff slapped him across the face. "Snap out of it!"

But he didn't. Instead, he started to cry harder, and then he ran away.

"What the hell is wrong with him?" Biff asked.

"What did you do that for?" Chris asked.

"What?" Biff said, getting defensive. "I was just trying to knock some sense into him."

Chris glared at Biff, then shook his head and started walking away. "I'll see you later, Mike. I've gotta go to the music department, wherever that is."

"What's wrong with you?" Mike asked Biff. "Everyone's accepting what happened except for you."

"And that's not good? Listen. The guy you switched with, what's his name?"

"You mean Drullers?"

"Yeah, that's him. Isn't he really into a comic books or something?"

"Yeah. You wouldn't believe how many I've got in my bedroom."

"How do you feel about them?"

"Comic books? You know me. I hate them."

Biff smiled. "Then there's hope. Maybe you're not accepting all of this as much as you think."
