Jon appeared back in his bedroom, wishing stone still in hand. He collapsed on his bed, thinking how wonderful it was to have sex with Jessica. A few hours before he would have been disturbed by just the concept of having sex with her, but now he enjoyed it. And he couldn't wait to do it again.

"Dinner's ready!" his mom yelled from downstairs.

Jon sat up. He really didn't want to interact with his family again, but he was hungry. He'd just eat fast.

Jon walked downstairs and saw that his mom and his little brother Mikey were already at the kitchen table, but Zoe was nowhere to be found.

But then the front door opened behind him, causing him to turn around and look. Suddenly, he became repulsed. It was Zoe. She must have just come back from the mall, because she was carrying several shopping bags.

Jon hated all those popular girls, with their pink outfits and preppy attitudes. They made him want to vomit.

But, of course, that's how Zoe felt about Jon. She hated Goths (even though she still had memories of being one herself). And Zoe was totally pissed off that she even had to share a zip code with a Goth, let alone her own home.

"What are you looking at, you freak?" she asked Jon.

"Fuck you, bitch," Jon said, giving her the middle finger.

Zoe's eyes began to burn with anger. "You can't talk to me like that, you freak!"

"Hey!" their mom yelled. "Cut it out, you two. Or you'll both be grounded for a month."

"What?!" Zoe yelled. "You can't do that!"

"As long as you live in this house, I can do whatever I please," she told Zoe.

Jon began to smile and his mom shot him an angry look. "You wipe that smile off your face this instant." And his smile disappeared.

"I'm not eating dinner with that," Zoe said, pointing at Jon.

"Then you won't have to!" Jon yelled, then stomped upstairs and back to his room.

Zoe put her hands on her hips, in a victory pose, and smiled.

Her mom sighed, then said "Why can't you two get along for just two seconds?"

Because Jon is a freak, that's why, Zoe thought. And she wondered why her mom couldn't understand that.
