Jon walked inside Sarah's house, where he had just been not too long ago, pleading for their help to change him back to normal. Now it disgusted him that he wanted to change back. Why would he want to lose this life, when it was so perfect for him? He loved the lifestyle, the music, the clothes. And he wondered why it wasn't so attractive to him before.
"Sarah and Amber are upstairs," Karyn said to him. He nodded, then walked up the stairs, leaving Tom with his "new" girlfriend.
Once upstairs, he walked into Sarah's bedroom, which (oddly) looked very much like his own "new" bedroom, aside from a few differences. Maybe they had the same decorator.
"So, you still don't want to be a Goth?" Sarah asked.
"Are you kidding? Why would I want to be fucking 'normal' again?" Jon asked.
Amber smiled. "That's good to hear."
"Jessica called here," Sarah said. "She said that you were acting strange."
Jessica, Jon thought. I had completely forgotten about her. When he had visited her earlier, he had not yet fully accepted his new life, but now he had. And he intended on living this new life to the full extent.
"I'll go over there right now," Jon said, then he left and went back downstairs. As his left boot hit the bottom step, he heard Karyn say "Tom? What the fuck is wrong with you?" And when he entered the living room, he saw that Tom was trembling. But he wasn't scared. It was more like he was disgusted.
"I'm going to Jessica's house," Jon said.
"You're leaving me here?" Tom said. Now he seemed scared.
"Why not? You've got Karyn to look after you," Jon said, then he left.
