"What were you talking about with Jay?" Tom said, pushing Jon.
"That's none of your business."
"Everything is my business, freak boy," Tom said, pushing Jon again.
Jon started to get angry. And that was bad because he noticed that when he got emotional, more of Trevor's personality revealed itself.
"Don't call me freak boy."
This time, Tom pushed him so hard that he fell to the ground. "Why not? That's what you are. A freak."
Jon stared up at Tom with fiery eyes. He hated Tom. He hated people like Tom. Jocks, preps, it didn't matter. Jon was past the point of being unsettled by these feelings. Now they felt natural to him and he wondered why he didn't have these feelings before.
"You're gonna regret you did that," Jon said.
"What are you gonna do? Put a curse on me?" Tom taunted.
But, of course, Jon had something better than a curse. He had the stone. And was going to use it.
Jon smiled and said "I wish ..."
