Over the speakers, a woman's voice was heard. "The mall will be closing in thirty minutes."
"We should go shopping," Zoe suddenly said.
"What? Are you kidding me?" Sabrina asked. "Listen, I just came here for Athena's evidence. You even said you only came for that, just a few minutes ago."
"Well, I changed my mind."
"What did Sarah do to you when you went to her house? Brainwash you?"
"Sabrina, listen."
"No way, I'm outta here." She stood up and left, stumbling once from her heels. High heels weren't made for walking quickly, as she was finding out.
"I guess it's just the three of us then," Zoe said.
Athena and Stephanie looked less than thrilled, but they went along with her anyway. At least there was only about 25 minutes left to shop.
Some stores were already closing up shop, but Zoe managed to get into a clothing store, to look around. She wasn't intending on buying anything, she just wanted to make it look like she was shopping.
"See anything you like?" a woman asked her.
"No, just browsing."
While Zoe was in the clothing store, Athena and Stephanie went off by themselves to go somewhere else, which ended up being Victoria's Secret.
Athena wasn't really big on sexy underwear, considering her choice in fashion and her lifestyle. But now she had Tiffany's life and suddenly she felt that maybe she should give more attention to what she's wearing under her clothes.
"Why do you want to come in here?" Stephanie asked.
But she ignored her.
"Okay, fine. I'll just wait out here," she said to Athena, and sat down on a bench outside the store. Just like Jessica taught her, she sat straight up and with her legs crossed. A guy walked by and smiled at her.
Inside the store, Athena walked around until she saw a red lacy demi-cup bra and a matching pair of panties. She didn't know why, but she just had to have them. So, she bought them.
When she left the store, Stephanie stood up. "Did you buy something?" she asked, seeing the small bag Athena was carrying.
"Yeah. So what?"
"What is it?"
"Underwear."
"No, really? From an underwear store? Come on, let me see it."
"Why do you want to look so badly?"
Stephanie was about to say why, but, really, she had no idea.
A minute later, Zoe came back to meet up with them. "I think the mall is closing. We better leave."
So, they did.
