Sarah's friends went home, while Sarah herself waited for Zoe and her friends to get done with cheerleading practice.
"Zoe," Sarah said, jumping out from behind a bush.
"You nearly scared the shit out of me," Zoe said. "What do you want?"
"We've decided to wear our normal clothes tomorrow. So, we'll need to borrow outfits from your closets."
"Wait a minute. I said that it would be a good idea ..."
"I don't want to play the part of Goth girl, Zoe. I'm not Goth. I just want to get some of my life back. Who knows if we ever find who did this to us? I don't want to wait to get back to normal if I can just do it myself."
Zoe saw good reasoning in that and she and her friends decided to do the same.
Each girl met up with their counterpart at their houses and took home an outfit. When each one saw their counterpart's bedroom, it was a nostalgia trip, even though it had only been a day since the change. But they didn't stay too long. They just needed the clothes. They'd exchange other things later.
Zoe walked into her bedroom and sat down on her bed. She put the Goth outfit she got from Sarah's closet down next to her and sighed. She had a lot of work to do to get her room back to normal. It would be easier to just find whoever did this and make them change them back. But first she'd have to find them. Where could they be?
There was a knock at her door.
"What?" she asked.
"Dinner's almost ready," a voice called back. It was her brother Jon.
