By the time Zelda Whitefield (one of Zoe's friends) woke up, Zoe, Athena, and Sabrina had already made each other aware of their situations. Zoe thought it was impossible that just herself could have changed, so finding out that the same thing happened to two of her friends was simply mind-boggling. But unknown to her, Zoe's other two friends had also been changed. What was more impossible than impossible?
Zelda groggily got out of bed and got the shock of her life. Her entire room was different, now portraying the look of a "normal" 15-year old girl's room. Pink and white unicorn wallpaper, pink curtains, posters of boy bands, and tons of stuffed animals. It made Zelda want to throw up. After her eyes scanned her messed up room, she stopped and stared at her computer.
She walked over to it and yelled out "What the fuck happened to my computer?" The computer she had the night before, the one with all the accessories and peripherals, was gone. It was all replaced by a simple laptop computer and a mouse. There weren't even any speakers.
It was at this time that she noticed her reflection in her bedroom mirror. She was so focused on how her room had changed that she didn't even realize that she had changed as well.
As she slowly walked towards the mirror, she looked on in horror. Her hair was no longer dyed. It was back to its natural blond color. And her skin was tanned. Tanned! And her clothes were different too, as she was now wearing a plain white T-shirt and light pink pajama bottoms.
She ran to her closet and almost burst into tears over the fact that all her clothes were replaced by Barbie-type clothes. It was a nightmare that she couldn't wake up from.
By the time Melissa Smith (one of Sarah's friends) woke up, Sarah, Tiffany, and Amber had already made each other aware of their situations. Sarah thought it was impossible that just herself could have changed, so finding out that the same thing happened to two of her friends was simply mind-boggling. But unknown to her, two more of Sarah's friends had also changed.
Melissa groggily got out of bed and got the shock of her life. Her entire room was different, now portraying a weird sci-fi look. Silver-painted walls, gray curtains, posters of hacker movies, and a bunch techno CD's.
Taking up a large part of her bedroom was a computer workstation, with tons of accessories and peripherals. It all seemed very expensive and most of it was too sophisticated for her to understand their function.
"Where did all of this come from?"
It was at this time that she noticed her reflection in her bedroom mirror. She was so focused on how her room had changed that she didn't even realize that she had changed as well.
As she slowly walked towards the mirror, she looked on in horror. All the hair on the right side of her head was shaved off and all the hair on the left side of her head had been formed into blue-dyed dreadlocks that hung down the side of her head. All of her tanned skin had vanished, leaving pale (nearly white) skin in its place. On her lips was faded blue lipstick, and around her eyes was black eyeliner and blue eyeshadow. Her clothes were different too, as she was now wearing a silver shirt and silver pajama bottoms. She felt like she was part of some weird sci-fi B-movie.
She was a freak!
She ran to her closet and almost burst into tears over the fact that all her clothes were replaced by outfits made of latex and vinyl. It was a bizarre nightmare that she couldn't wake up from.
