The pain in Zoe's head stopped as quickly as it began. When it was gone, she stood up and dusted herself off. She then looked at the stone in her hand and grinned. Despite having just learned of it, she felt satisfaction in finally having it.
"Heh, the stone is finally mine. With it, I can do anything..." she said, though not exactly sure why these thoughts were in her mind. She then heard the shower shut off. "Damn. I've gotta get out of here."
She then ran out of Jon's room and down the stairs. She began to head out the door.
"On your way to school, dear?" Mrs. Gibson asked from the kitchen.
Zoe thought for a moment. She hadn't been planning on going to school. After all, she had infinite power in her hand. But when she thought of all the trouble she could cause a smile crept to her lips. "Yes...that's exactly where I'm going mother." she said.
"Alright, have a good day."
"Oh, I believe I will." Zoe said. Looking down at the stone again. "Actually, I know I will."
