Jon ran upstairs and found Karyn on sitting on her bed, dressed as she usually was, in a t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers. She took one look at Jon and started laughing hysterically.
Jon was confused, "what's so funny, Karyn? I came her to get you to help me find the rock, I think somebody stole it---"
Karyn smirked as she held up the rock.
"Karyn! You stole my rock?"
"No, Jon, I saw you accidentally drop it on your way home, and I decided to teach you a lesson to take better care of your belongings, especially something as important as this."
"Did it fall out of my purse?" asked Jon.
"No, because a couple hours ago you didn't even OWN a purse."
"What do you mean, I've had purses for years, I've had this one for six months!"
"I made a little wish," giggled Karyn. "Remember last week when you were talking about not understanding why girls bothered with makeup and fashion and hanging out at the mall all the time?"
Jon was confused. "What are you talking about? Girls don't wear makeup, and I love fashion! I designed my own prom dress last year, remember?"
Karyn laughed louder than ever, "No, Jon, I don't remember that, because I made a wish so that males and females would remain physically the same as they were, but would switch clothing, attitudes, and social status."
"That's impossible!" cried Jon, although there were some things that never seemed to make sense to him. He loved wearing makeup and going to the mall and talking about girls, but he always wondered why the males wore bras when it was the females who had breasts, and also why men were physically bigger than women, but the women were considered physically stronger than the men? He quickly grabbed the rock from Karyn. "I wish..."
