Looking over his bookshelf, Jon saw a stack of old Choose Your Own Adventure books from when he was a kid. It would be really cool if his life were like that, but only if he could avoid the bad endings. He also remembered that in one of the books, the best ending was unreachable unless you just turned to it.
He thought about how to phrase this wish. If he did it wrong, he could end up in big trouble, just like some the characters in those books.
