As Jon woke up the next morning he had to force himself to remember that he was a nudist now and didn't wear clothes anymore. Jon decided to explore this new community he lived in. He got out his backpack, put in some stuff, including the wishing stone (just in case he wanted to use it.) Apparently, shoes and hats were the only thing that people wore here. Strangely, a lot of his shoes consisted of women's high heels, like the ones Brad wore last night. He put on a pair with seven inch heels, just to feel what they were like. They fit like a glove and Jon seemed to have no problem walking in them.
Jon slipped into Matt's room, followed by Alan and Brad's room. Again, many of the shoes were high heels. Almost all of the hats in the house were women's hats also. How did my wish do that Jon wondered. Jon pulled out the wishing rock and wished for the answer. It turned out that in this nudist community, these things had been fashionable for as long as the community had existed. Everyone viewed this as normal, and individuals moving to the community adapted quickly to the local fashions.
Jon's wish also told him other things about the community. Everyone (and the stone meant everyone) was fully bisexual. Strangely, less than 10% of the community was female. The other 90+% were all male. There didn't seem to be much explanation for this. As a result, most relationships were between two or more men. Many men had special surgeries to give them the ability to have babies. Some replaced their penises with women's reprductive systems. Others added them on to their male systems, making them fully functional hermaphrodites. In theory, the hermaphrodites could get themselves pregnant, but that was usually through artificial insemination. Jon's dad, Alan, and his brother, Matt, were hermaphrodites. Brad just had a woman's system.
Jon made a wish to be able to react in appropriate ways when he talked to people so that he could learn more about the community without making people suspicious that something was wrong. He then decided to learn more about the community by going out and exploring it.
