Linda just stared at the computer screen in awe. Jon had had a baby? And so quickly? How? What had she just done? She picked up the rock by the computer, looking at it with something akin to shame on her face. She'd made her son go through a full-term pregnancy just because she didn't like how he dressed up his characters on a game.
Determined to fix things, she spoke out loud, "I wish Jon was back out of the game." The character the game screen was fixed on suddenly disappeared... and reappeared right next to her. A cute, busty teenage girl in a skimpy top and short pleated skirt stood next to her. "Mom? What's going on?" She spoke in a high voice which couldn't be mistaken for anything but a girl's.
She looked at the mirror and shrieked, and Linda shrieked with her. "Jon?! It wasn't supposed to work like that! It was supposed to be you, not Amber!" Jon - Amber - started crying, sitting down on her bed and closing her eyes, trying not to look at herself.
Linda had just made everything much worse, and wondered now how to fix it.
