Alyssa opened the little box inside the jewelry box to find a small stone.
She couldn't figure out why there was a stone inside a little box. It looked like an ordinary stone. She rolled it around in her hand for a minute before resting it on the dresser with the rest of the "bad" jewelry. Alyssa started to do her makeup, being in her mid 40s, she wasn't the sexy woman she used to be that originally won her husband over because of her looks. She used to have men fighting over her in high school. She finally settled on her current husband because he had a car and was in college and majoring in engineering. So she figured he would be rich and she wouldn't have to do ahything. Well, she was right about one thing, she didn't have to do anything. But because her husband was the sole breadwinner, they did not live a life of luxury she desired. She is quite tall, about 5'10" with a little belly weight she could never get rid of after of her pregnancies messed up her stomach. She walks all throughout the neighborhood to eavesdrop on the neighbors with her walking weights. But no matter how much she walks she cannot get that middle stomach to slim down.
As she was putting on her makeup she was searching for another piece and accidentally picked up the stone. "Ugh I wish..."
