The next thing I knew Susan was standing over me, shaking me gently. "Rise and shine sleepy head" she said. "What time is it" I asked 10 was the reply. "Remember we are going shopping before you started your shift tonight at least that's what you told me you wanted to do." "I thought I would tag along as there some things I want to get" she went on to say. I have already had my shower she said its all yours. With that she turned to the bedroom to change out of her pyjamas. She still had some of her clothes here as she had yet to pick them up after the last time we had broken up maybe that was a good sign maybe not. At the moment I wasn't bothered I went to get my shower and shave.
About an hour and half later we were walking round the town centre in and out shops some times buying some thing sometimes not. Man I had forgotten how much Susan liked to shop. A short time later we decided to stop for lunch. "Hey Pete we are near your work why don't we go there the food's good" asked Susan. "Why not it will give me a chance to check what time I start at tonight I'm not sure" I answered. When we got to the bar we took a seat near the window. Within a minute Susan brother John came over to us. Yeah my Ex's brother was my boss oh the joy at least we were all on good terms.
"Don't tell me you two are back together again" he asked with a big smile on his face. "No we were just doing some shopping in the town before my shift" I replied. "Speaking of which I need to check what time I start at tonight back soon "I said as I made my way to the office. I came back to find the two of them laughing at something. "You're joking" was all I heard John say as he then saw me coming. "I start a five I said to Susan so I will need to go after this." Shame she said I was having fun." And with that we order our meal and had lunch.
After lunch I turned to leave, well I did only have a few hours before I would need to be back at the bar for work. "John said he would give me home it we give us a chance to catch up" Susan told me. "Fair enough" I said see you later and with that start the journey back to my flat before returning for work.
