Author's note So I'm starting a new universe which anyone is welcome to add to. Below is a list of rules for this new universe. The stories can be done in first person or third person but my first set of stories will be in first. This universe is very much like our own except for one major difference, the gender roles are reversed. What that means is that while our bodies remain the same, everything that is attributed towards male and female has been reversed. In our world what is associated with masculinity is now feminine in the new world and vice versa. If you have any other questions regarding this world you can message me in the forum
Biology
Men are still physically taller than women, but they are considered the weaker sex in this word so they are not very strong and are quite docile. While men in this world are allowed jobs, they mostly tend to do the types of jobs that women do in our world for example; secretarial, modelling, cleaning, cheerleading etc. Just like in our world there are a few men who break that trend but they still don't get treated the same way as women.
Women while smaller than men are considered to be the dominant gender in this world, so while they are also on average weaker than men a lot of women work out and end up stronger than men. Women in this world tend to do the more important jobs such as; banking, sports, trading, pilots and so on. Women are generally high paid than men.
Pregnancy
Women still get pregnant while the men look after the baby, as soon as the baby is born it is handed over to the male. While a lot of women like to work through the pregnancy some women like to take the time off and spend it at home lying about while their husbands runs around looking after them. Women still produce milk from their breasts to feed the babies but because they generally go back to work more or less the next day (there are few who don't) they tend to put it into a bottle so that the husband can feed the baby throughout the day.
Clothing
As with everything else in the world clothing has switched genders. What is considered women's clothing in our world is now men's clothing in this world, even though men do not have breasts they do however wear a bra and this is mostly for modesty as men are not allowed to show their nipples in public. Women however can show their breasts and go topless if they wish.
There is still maternity clothing for pregnant women, however it is now designed for the women of this world such as; long baggy t-shirts, large dress shirts (for formal occasions) and stretchy jeans and joggers. On formal occasions women wear shirt and ties while men wear dresses and halter tops on really formal occasions women will wear a tuxedo.
Weddings
In a wedding the woman is still called the bride and the man the groom however the groom is the one who wears the white dress and the bride the tuxedo, the man will vow to love, honour and obey his wife while the woman will love, protect and provide for him. The groom will have groomsmen and the bride will have bridesmaids but the bridesmaids will be in tuxedos while the groomsmen will be in dresses.
