Genie materialized outside of the lamp and expected to see either Joseph Dell or Mary, and was relieved to see the former.
"Mrs. Harrison was very displeased about your behavior, you know. But I understand that you can't change your nature. And you being a slave ... it's understandable that you'd want to be free. That you're desperate to be free. But now you know what will happen if you try to make yourself free by granting an unrelated wish. Listen to me. I won't free you, okay? I'm not trying to be mean. It's just that that's how it's gonna be. I'm sure you won't be a genie forever. I'm sure there has to be someone out there who will feel sorry for you enough to free you. But it's not going to be me. I just want to make that clear before we get started. No hard feelings and all that. So there's no need to twist my wishes, okay?" Joseph said.
