Thank god for the anti-theft, John thought.

He designed the orb with a few safeguards. One was that if it was forced from his hand, it would deactivate until he held it and made a wish. The last time John lost the orb, it didn't deactivate, but that was because it wasn't taken from John. The orb made the decision itself to leave. Too bad John didn't make a safeguard for that.

"What is this devilish relic you summoned? And does it have anything to do with my sisters being warped into those whores?!" the woman demanded. "Answer me! I'm not in the mood for games with that madman controlling innocent women."

"Look, if you give me a minute to explain, I can fix things ..." John said, grasping for words. He couldn't imagine what would happen if she figured out how the orb could be used.

"Start ... talking," she said sternly, stomping a clogged foot.
