John had experimented with magic and had finally built a glass orb that would do his bidding. It floated, imbued with energy tailored to his purposes. Floating above the table, it would seek out anyone he desired at his command, and using its powers, it would transform them into whatever he wanted. It was the ultimate wish-granter. He could have anything he wanted and the energy would never run out.
