"So, what have we got for today?" Nick asked Candy, who was now his secretary, since he was the new therapist who owned this office.
"Well, like, your first appointment is with Mrs. Madeline Jenner," Candy said, looking at the appointment book on the desk. Before Nick became the new therapist, but after Candy became the new secretary, he saw the name on the desk as Dr. Matt Jenner, so it seemed that only two major things, possibly three, had changed. Jenner was a woman now, no longer a doctor, and married (he wasn't sure if Matt was married or not). "Then after that, you have an appointment with Ashley Summers."
"Which one was that again?" Nick asked.
"That's the gothic girl. You know, the one that's being a problem for her mother. Her mother wants you to straighten her out."
Oh, he could straighten her out alright.
"Then after that, you have an appointment with ..." Candy started.
