"Well, I don't think so," Nick said. "You said your name was Rutherford, right?"
"Yeah. So?" William replied.
"Isn't that your name on the mailing address sticker?" Nick asked, pointing at the magazine where the mailing address was located. It blurred for a moment, then clearly stated that it was mailed to William Rutherford.
Suddenly, William got red in the face with embarrassment. It was his magazine. And he knew it too. He had used it on more than one occasion to get off on. He must have accidentally left it out in the waiting room. He quickly walked over to his desk and put it away. "Candy, can you go back out to the receptionist desk, please? I think I need to have a talk with ... uh ..." He looked at Nick.
"Nick."
"Right. Nick." William looked down at his schedule book and realized that he did have a session at this time with a man named Nick. Oddly, though, there was no last name.
Candy stood up and walked out of the room, moving as sensually as she normally did now. She still had the moves from her stripping days, that was for sure.
Once the secretary was out of the room, William sat down behind his desk and relaxed for a moment, before saying "Now, Nick. I hope you don't think less of me, knowing that I read ... well ... you know. Porn magazines. Especially in the office."
Nick waved his hand dismissively. "Don't worry about it. I mean, you're a guy, right? Sometimes men can't help themselves. I understand completely."
William felt relieved. "I'm glad."
"But, you know, some of the stuff in the magazine did seem a bit different than what I'd expect someone like you to be into."
William looked nervous and a little confused. "What do you mean?"
Nick smiled, then told his new therapist what he had seen in the magazine. And as he did, the magazine changed again and so did William's sexual tastes.
