"You want anything to drink?" Mike asked Darien, after they sat down at one of the tables.
Darien shrugged. "Not really."
Mike stood up anyway. "Well, I want one. I'll be back soon, okay baby?"
Darien's eyes went wide. He turned to ask Mike why he called him "baby", but he was too far away and the music was too loud. He was stunned again when he noticed how Mike was walking. Shaking his butt and hips flirtatiously, like a lot of girls he had seen, showing off their bodies. But why was Mike walking like that?
"I'm gonna go get something to drink. You want anything?" Jim asked Mandy.
"Yeah, actually," she responded, telling him what she wanted.
"Okay, I'll be back soon," he said, then he was gone.
At the bar, Mike was ordering a drink for himself when he suddenly noticed a guy standing behind him ... a little too close. He turned and got a good look at him. He wasn't sure what the guy's name was, but he thought he might have seen him around campus before.
Then the guy got close again. Mike could feel the bulge in the guy's pants rubbing up against his jean-covered butt. And to tell the truth, it didn't feel all that bad. Mike shook his head. Come on! He had to control these weird feelings!
He took a step closer to the bar.
"Oh, sorry," the guy said behind him. "I didn't mean to do that."
"Do what?" Mike asked, looking around at him again. This time, there was a smirk on his face.
"Rub up against you. It's just that ... it felt kind of nice. I mean, I'm not ... it's like this ... I, uh ... I'm dating a girl." The moment he said that, it felt wrong somehow. Like he shouldn't have been.
"Well, I'm not," Mike said. He stuck out his hand. "Mike."
The guy took his hand and shook it. "Jim."
