An invisible force descended on the college town of Settler's Run, no one realizing what damage it could cause ... or bliss (depending on how you looked at it). It didn't matter what the entity was, only its purpose mattered. And its purpose was to seek out a catalyst and transform him or her into what they despised, causing others to change as well in a chain reaction. Verbal abuse was the easiest magnet for the entity, as it was a plain and clear template for it to do its work. And as the moon shone brightly in the early cloudless night sky, someone in Settler's Run attracted the entity's attention and was forever changed by it.
