It took a bit of convincing, but eventually Stuart got Teresa to come with him to see Alan's new neighbor. She wasn't happy that he canceled their dinner plans, but she could understand his concern for his co-worker. She had met Alan before and from what Stuart had told her about his encounter with Alan outside the gay bar, it was clear to her that something sinister was actually going on. She initially told Stuart to call the police, but her boyfriend said they probably wouldn't believe him ... and he wanted to take care of this himself anyway.
So there they were, parked in front of Alan and Brenda's house. They looked around and spotted a house nearby that still had the realtor's sign up.
"That must be it," Stuart concluded. He moved to get out of the car, but Teresa stopped him.
"Are you sure you want to do this? Who knows what this Oliver guy is capable of? I ... I'm worried."
"Don't be. I won't let this guy get the drop on us. Now come on."
Teresa was still hesitant, but a moment later, she found herself standing at the front door along with her boyfriend.
Then Stuart rang the doorbell.
