"In fact," Oliver said, smiling. "You're not married at all."
"Of course not. Why would I be married?" Alan asked Oliver.
"But you do have a girlfriend."
Alan nodded, but looked a bit confused. Maybe because he couldn't quite remember who his girlfriend was. Well, maybe it was time for Oliver to tell him.
"Krista's your girlfriend. You know, the Goth girl downstairs?" Oliver figured that Krista was the one who allowed Alan into the house, so he was sure that Alan would have already noticed that she was now a Goth girl.
"But ... isn't she my daughter?" Alan asked, confused. There were too many conflicting ideas.
"No. You don't have any children. Remember?"
"Uh ... yeah. I don't have any kids."
"That's right. Now go downstairs and find your girlfriend. Just like her, you're totally into the Goth crowd. You are Goth." He already tweaked Krista's mind so that she would now think of Alan as her (much older) Goth boyfriend.
"Of course I'm Goth. Are you fucking blind?" Alan spat at him. "Now if you don't mind, I need to go find my girlfriend."
"I don't mind at all," Oliver said, smiling. He watched as Alan left the room, then turned his attention back to Rachel and Brenda. "Now, where were we, girls?"
