David stepped out of the washroom, a towel around his waist, his long golden locks wrapped in a similar towel above his head. The water had been divine, just the right temperature, just the right pressure. While his encounter with Janice had left him feeling soiled, the shower had made everything right again. Besides, he told himself, who cares if he had a little fun every once and a while. He was a modern, liberated boy!
Just as David was reaching for the door handle to his bedroom, he heard a small voice behind him.
"I'm sorry, David," said the voice, "I tried to stop her, but she wouldn't listen."
David turned and saw Adam, his roommate. A brief moment of confusion hit him as he stared at the boy before him, something about how he looked. The confusion was gone in a second, though. Black stockings, garter belt, panties and bra. Sure, Adam was practically naked, but they were at home, and if you can't dress down at home, where can you dress down?
"Who wouldn't listen?" David asked, annoyed that he was dripping on the carpet.
"Denise," Adam answered, meekly twisting one leg, pivoting on his high heel, "She's in there."
"You let my EX into my bedroom?!" David said through his teeth.
"I didn't let her in anywhere!" Adam whined, "She pushed right past me!"
David sighed. He didn't have time to deal with this shit. He had papers to grade, a house to tidy, not to mention that he was naked! How the hell was he supposed to find the time to deal with this Dr. Gilmore maniac if he was going to be constantly bombarded with distractions like this?
He knew he shouldn't be so mad at Adam. Really, he was more like a brother to him than a roommate. They'd lived together ever since college and were closer than family. They did each other's hair, shared each other's clothes, gossiped, laughed...
Adam, though, had a weakness for strong women. He very quickly became a push-over, allowing them to walk all over him. How many times had David stayed up late, consoling a weeping Adam, listening to tales of being mistreated, cheated on, undervalued. The boy couldn't help it. Whenever a strong woman came into his life, he just folded.
"Fine," David said, "I'll deal with it."
Turning away from his roommate, David grabbed the handle and opened the door to his room to confront his unwelcome visitor.
