Staring down the hallway pondering all your options, you start to imagine the potential outcomes of several different combinations; but then it hits you... There is no guarantee that people will mix in the way you imagined.
You turn to Karyn and say "We need better control". As she tries to ask you to elaborate you start formulating yet another wish to modify the merging gun.
"I wish for the merging gun to have an detailed and intuitive interface for designing the physical, mental and social characteristics of the resulting merged person." As soon as you say that you realize that intuitive or not, such a menu would be extensive and take a while to navigate, thus you follow up with a second wish. "I wish that when the gun is activated; time stops for all but it's user until said user either completes or cancels the activation." Suddenly terrified of getting stuck in a frozen world you add "While time is frozen the user can move around freely, does not age, need to drink, sleep, eat or breathe".
As you finish Karyn looks at you and says "Pretty thorough, but I get now what you meant by better control. So who are we changing?"
