After saying that, she let out another sigh and she closed her eyes until a familiar voice reached her ears, "Chun-Li!" She froze instantly, then she turned to her side to see the figure of a barefooted dark-haired man clad in a white karate gi with a black belt, red gloves and a red headband tied on his forehead, carrying a duffel bag by its hand. She knew only one guy who went around this way.
"Ry...Ryu?!" she asked in disbelief feeling her heart pounding hard, then she ran to him with a large smile to hug him as tightly as she could, letting him drop his duffel bag. A hug that if it depended on her would last for eternity.
"Hey, Chun-Li!" he said overwhelmed by her enthusiasm, returning the hug, "What a nice welcome!"
"Ryu, I'm so happy to see you!" she then looked at him with her eyes nearly in tears for joy, "I didn't really expect to see you. What brings you here?"
"I'm traveling with Oro to train with him, and since we arrived in China I asked for a break to visit a dear friend of mine," he replied with a warm smile, making Chun-Li's cheeks flush a little. With that answer, he had made it clear how important she was to him and this only made her even happier.
"Oh Ryu," she giggled cheerfully, "you're always so kind! You don't know how long I desired to see you again!"
"Me too, Chun-Li."
