"Well I think I will be going to work today." Steve said to everyone. "Might as well check up on things at the office. Andy I want you to go to school too."
"Aw c'mon dad!" Andy whined.
"No buts mister!" Denise added.
Andy got up grumbling. David decided to leave without a word. He couldn't believe how his family was acting. They had obviously been brainwashed by the mad doctor and he set out to help them. David was in a state of paranoia, Dr. Gilmore had complete control over the whole town. At any minute he too could be under an influence or changed into something bizarre. Even worse, he could be wiped from existence if it were chosen. David would have to play it smart for now, he decided just to check on the townspeople and see how they felt about this. He couldn't of been the only one worried about the situation they were under.
As he walked down the street he tried to take account of all the people he saw down the street. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, but he couldn't be too sure. He constantly checked himself to see if his body was still normal. "Blue jeans, sneakers, same black shirt. Yeap, I'm still a man too, still the same." He thought to himself. He looked around checking up on the citizens that he remembered from living there so long.
"Ok, Mr. Robinson is still the mailman. That's normal." Mr. Robinson was delivering a package in his standard uniform.
"Ms. Carol and her kids are still normal, that's good." The 42 year old mom was holding hands with her 12 year old daughter and 7 year old son while heading towards the park.
"Officer Rogers is doing a strip tease on that parking meter, I'm glad he still ok." The former male cop found his 37 year old scruffy head on top of a stripper's body wearing a seductive cop uniform she was now peeling off.
"Those schoolchildren seem ok." A group of youngsters walked by in dress clothes.
"The group of old women line dancing are doing a good job, that's nice." A group of senior citizen women with the bodies of youthful vegas showgirls were doing a can-can along side the retirement home. Their bodies were dressed in skimpy show outfits exposing their lovely young legs in the air.
David decided to stop in the local coffee shop, where most of the people come to talk about things in town. He felt this would be the best spot to here what the people thought without acting suspicious.
"One last check before I go in." He looked down. "Ok, plaid skirt, white knee high socks, mary jane shoes, blouse with a tie. Am I still a woman? Yeap, everything is still normal." David walked into the coffee shop possessing the body of a high school girl.
