Something Wrong With the Site's Background Color Preference?

I tried to change the background color of the site by going into my preferences page "Modify Your Account" (the part that says "Change Theme"), but it's all messed up. Has the site been recently edited to make this happen? Will it be fixed so it's not stuck with the blue background color?
