Laura grabbed her purse and headed out the door to her car, a common gray-colored sedan.
As she drove to the church, she glanced at herself in the rear view mirror. Did her eyes look different? Normally, they were clear blue, but for some reason, they appeared to be darker. She shook her head, thinking she was seeing things.
In fact, her eye color was changing. As was her skin color, but she didn't notice that. At the moment, her skin had a very light tan, as if she had been sitting in the sun for a few hours. But with all the clothing she was wearing, it was hard to tell what color her skin was.
A minute later, she drove into the church parking lot and then parked the car. On a weekday, like today, the parking lot was nearly deserted, so she found a spot very close to the building. Then she got out and walked into the church.
