Nadine rushed towards the kitchen, then stopped dead in her tracks when she spotted what was sitting on the kitchen table. It was a small rectangular white box and in the center of it (among scraps of burnt paper, apparently) was the dildo. It disgusted her, seeing it sitting there on top of the kitchen table ... in her house. A filthy sinful thing like that. How did it even get here?
Nearby, her eyes landed on some crumpled pieces of wrapping paper. It was all piled on the counter, near the sink. She walked over to it and saw the ribbon and bow, and the small tag with the words "TO LAURA" on it.
Could it be that someone gave the dildo as a present? That would explain how it got into the house. But who would send her mother something like that? What kind of perverse mind could come up with sending a gift like that?
But probably the most important question was: How was it able to change her mother like that? From what she knew of dildos, they didn't change people's behavior. No, there must have been something special about this one.
Nadine hesitantly approached the table, getting revolted once again. She had to get rid of it. Maybe then her mother (and Mrs. White) would return to normal. She was just making a lot of guesses here. Getting rid of it might not help the situation at all. But she had to do something. She at least had to get it out of sight before her father got home.
