Katie was about to tell the cop "yes", but before she did, one last ounce of willpower held her back. She pinched herself, turning her away from her desires momentarily. But it was enough.

"Just give me the ticket," she said.

"Are you sure?" the cop asked.

"Yes," she said.

The officer shrugged, then wrote the ticket and handed it to her, along with her license and registration.

"Next time I pull you over, maybe we could continue where we left off," he said, with a leer.

Katie turned away, disgusted. She felt like reporting the creep, but right now she had other things on her mind. She needed to get home. She needed her husband. More importantly, she needed what her husband could offer.

As the cop walked back to his car, Katie drove off, a lot slower this time, but still a few miles over the speed limit. She was almost home. She drove down the road, then made a right turn onto her own street.

She sighed with relief. She made it.

"Uhhhh," Chris muttered.

"He's waking up," a voice said.

Chris opened his eyes and saw that he was in a small room, handcuffed to a rail. He didn't know where he was, but he knew he was in trouble.

"Mr. Miller?" a man asked, coming into his field of vision. He was dressed as one of the MTI security guards. So Chris must have still been in the McMillan Tech Industries building. He was still at work. "Mr. McMillan won't be pressing charges for your conduct, but you have been fired. All of your things are now being collected as we speak."

Chris looked up at him. "Did you find a case full of spray canisters?"

The security guard looked confused. "No, there was nothing like that."

"Someone must have taken it," Chris muttered to himself.

"What was that?" the guard asked. "Speak up."

"Someone took it."

The guard sighed. "We're not going to go look for it. Mr. McMillan wants you out of here as soon as possible."

"You don't understand. Those sprays are dangerous."

"Dangerous?"

"I used one of the them on myself and ... and look what it did to me. I wasn't this buff this morning. Go check the surveillance tapes."

"If this is a ploy to stall ..."

"It's not. Believe me, those sprays in the wrong hands could mean disaster," Chris said.

The guard turned and looked thoughtful for a moment, then looked at one of the other guards. "Take a look at this morning's video. See if he's telling the truth."

"Really?" the other guard asked.

"Yeah, go."

The other guard shrugged, then left.

Greg scanned the office for any movement. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like there was any. As usual, the employees were in a rush to leave.

But then something caught his eye. It was a janitor. Jimmy, he believed his name was. "Perfect," he whispered to himself, smiling.
