"That's it, Miller. I've had enough of you. You're ..." Greg began to say.
"Ah ah ah," Chris said. "Think before you say that." He grabbed the front of Greg's shirt and pulled him close. "I make good on all my threats." Actually, until now, Chris rarely made any threats, for an obvious reason: he could never carry them out. But now ...
Greg suddenly seemed nervous. And who could blame him? He always had a sense of authority and now someone like Chris Miller had taken that away from him. He looked around the office and saw that people were now watching what was happening. "Everyone ..." he started to yell out. "Back to work!" But his voice was shaky. His authority was gone. After this, he didn't think anyone would take him seriously again.
Chris glanced at the clock. Only ten minutes left of the work day. "You son of a bitch," he said to Greg. "What the hell does ten minutes matter?"
"The day isn't over until it's five," Greg said, firmly.
"Yeah, well, maybe there should be a few changes around here," Chris said, before tossing Greg to the floor. A couple of people gasped, apparently shocked by how one of their bosses was being treated.
"What the hell is going on here?" Chris heard a man ask. He spun around and saw a familiar face. Everyone at the company knew this guy. It was none other than the CEO himself Richard McMillan.
"So, you finally decided to stop by the Lake Point branch, eh?" Chris asked, leaving his cubicle and approaching the top boss. "I thought it would be easier than going to the city ... since you live here."
"Who the hell do you think you are?" Richard asked.
