Leonard held the rock in his hand, it had to be some kind of prank from his parents. What was all this noise about it about being able to grant wishes? While Leon believed in the supernatural to some extent, he never would've thought or easily accepted something like that would, simply plop in his hands. He held it however curious, deciding to test his skepticism out. What could he overturn with a mere wish alone? It would have to be something simple, so he'd wish carefully. With a deep breath he said "I wish I had a candy bar." And just like that, a Hershey's chocolate bar appeared in his hand.
"N-no way. This is, impossible." The very word impossible was ironically a taboo in his vocabulary, and yet here he was in possession of (as far as he knew) the most powerful artifact in the world. "I can wish for anything? Fame, fortune? Aliens, psychics, mantis people living underground? Unbelievable!" He grasped it and ran downstairs in an excited hurry, hardly able to contain his anticipation. Inside his kitchen he held it and said "I wish we had a month's worth of snacks stocked up!" A brief flash went out, he checked the fridge. Cookies, chips, putting, ice cream and candy, jello and fruit snacks, Swiss rolls, everything anyone could've wanted to stuff their mundane pass-times with. "It's real, it's really real!"
He grabbed a bunch of chocolate bars and marshmallows from the fridge and headed to the couch. As he took a bite and smiled, one small fact set into his mind downplaying his mood. "Oh wait, the note said I could only wish for 3 things a day. Only 3? Hm, that means I only have one more til midnight, which would be a good 6 hours." He huffed, dropping his snacks on the table. "Oh, I know! There's an easy way to get around that. I wish I had a magic remote that could alter reality any way I chose! With the same amount of power as the wishing rock but far more than 3 button presses." And just like that, the rock flashed again.
In front of him on the table was the magic remote.
