"Karyn, who is your mistress?" Jon asked.
She looked confused. "Jon, you know our mistress is Sarah."
"Sarah?" Jon asked, getting a twinge of discomfort in his gut. "Sarah who?"
"Well, Sarah McMillan, of course," Bethany said.
"That bitch is your mistress?" Jon nearly yelled.
Karyn and her mother suddenly looked shocked and also very hurt.
"Mistress Sarah isn't a bitch," Karyn said. "She's the most loving person I know. I adore her."
"As do I," Bethany said.
Jon stared at them. How was he going to fix this? Karyn hated Sarah. What exactly did Sarah do to her?
