"Ta-ta," the fake Sarah said, smiling as she gave Sarah the Flower a mocking salute. Then she left the lab, leaving the giant flower behind, thirsting for water.
"Folmer," Kendall called out at the agent, approaching him. "Have you seen Smith? She said she was going to check up on Bertman, but that was a while ago. I want to get on top of this shape-shifter case as soon as possible."
"Nope, I don't know where she is." He turned towards another agent. "Willis, what about you? You seen her?"
Agent Willis shook his head.
Kendall turned away and grunted. "Where the hell is that girl?"
