Sarah walked over next to Morris and felt him touch her neck. His fingers felt cold and slick.
"What was that?" Sarah asked, startled.
"That's what I invented. It's ..." He stopped and smiled. "It's just a paralyzing agent, actually."
"What?" Sarah asked, eyes wide. "Why would you ..." She trailed off as she felt her body grow limp. Then she watched in complete horror as Morris began to change right before her eyes. What used to be the stocky balding man in a lab coat turned into someone else completely. His hair grew longer, his glasses disappeared, his body thinned, his facial features softened, even his clothes changed. And when it was all done, Sarah was looking at ... herself. "You're the shape ..." Sarah managed to say, before collapsing on the floor. She wasn't unconscious, but she couldn't move or talk. However, she could still hear.
"That's right. I'm the shape-shifter," she told Sarah. She momentarily looked down at herself and pulled back her blouse a bit. "Nice rack, by the way." She crouched down next to the paralyzed Sarah Smith. "You don't think I already knew about your agency? It was so easy to get in, especially with my ability. Maybe you people need better security."
Sarah wanted to yell for help, but she couldn't. She couldn't move at all.
"I know what you're thinking," the shape-shifter said. "What am I going to do now that I have your body ... your life," she added at the end, with a grin. "Well, let me just tell you that you won't be around to find out." She paused, watching Sarah for a moment, probably thinking what was going through the agent's head. "No, no. I'm not going to kill you. I have something ... better in mind," she said, with a smile.
