Mark finshed drying the dishes from dinner and put them away. His husband, Dan, was watching sports on TV. Dan's such a wonderful husband, Mark thought. Dan made enough that Mark could stay home with their children. Both Mark and Dan had artificial wombs grown in their bodies so that they could have children. Neither had vaginas, so any children they had would be born via c-section. Mark had already given birth to three children: Matt, Jon and Mikey. Dan had given birth to their daughter, Zoe. Mark was currently pregnant with his fourth child. He hoped for a girl, so that Zoe would have a sister. It must be hard to be the only girl in a family of guys, not even having a regular mother to serve as a feminine presence.
Mark cuddled with Dan, who placed his hand on Mark's pregnant belly. "How's the baby doing?" Dan asked.
"Kicking a lot," said Mark, proudly. Mark, like Dan, had always known that he was gay. But it wasn't until high school that he started dressing in women's clothing. It had started with sneaking his mother's panties, then had moved up to openly wearing skirts and dresses. A lot of the other guys teased him for his crossdressing tendancies. But not Dan. Dan had thought it made Mark more attractive. Dan proposed to Mark right out of high school. Mark accepted and wore a specially tailored wedding dress. He now wore nothing but women's clothing. At seventeen, their son, Jon, also wore women's clothing full time, though he wasn't gay, like his fathers. "Two more months," Dan continued, "and there's going to be another baby in the house."
Dan kissed Mark and said, "I can't wait. You make such a good mother for the kids."
"And they couldn't have a better father," said Mark. After a few minutes of silence, Mark asked, "Do you want to get pregnant again? You loved being pregnant with Zoe, and you looked great pregnant."
"Maybe," said Dan. "I have been feeling those urges, but I just keep putting it off. After all, we both still have plenty of time left." Thanks to the nature of their wombs, neither man would ever experience menopause and would stay fertile all their lives.
Mark had a doctor's appointment the next day, so he went to bed early. Later on, he felt Dan get into bed and snuggle up beside him, wrapping his arms protectively around Mark's body and their unborn baby.
