Meredith and Gregory were in the park, feeding pigeons, just like they usually did everyday at this time. The elderly couple (who had been married for over forty years and had two children - a son and a daughter) slowly walked down the path, throwing bread crumbs here and there, and that's when they noticed an odd-looking college-aged guy. He had a weird look on his face.
"Are you alright, son?" Gregory asked, with a somewhat shaky voice.
"I'm in a hypnotic trance," he said, in a monotone voice.
"Excuse me?" Gregory asked.
"It means I'm open to suggestion."
"Yes, young man. I know what a hypnotic trance is. But, you say that you're in one right now?"
"Yes. Just tell me something and I'll believe it, or tell me to do something and I'll do it."
Gregory looked at his wife astonishingly, then back at the strange boy. "Okay, well, how about you ..."
