The next thing Eric knew, he was no longer in the research station. In fact, he was no longer in the arctic. He was in a bedroom, sitting on a bed, and when he looked to his left, he saw bright sunlight pouring through an open window.
He looked down at himself and nearly yelled out in shock. He was a woman, and was dressed in only a bra and panties. He looked at his hand. He could still feel the ring on his finger, but it wasn't there. He grabbed at the phantom ring and pulled it ...
And suddenly, he was back in the research station, standing near the tube of ice that he had just a moment ago chipped away.
He held up the ring and looked at it, wondering what just happened. Was it a dream? It didn't feel like a dream. He felt the warm sunlight and weight of the breasts. It was definitely real. But how could it happen?
