"Hey, what are you doing in my woods?" It was a whiny voice, something that was just strange enough to awaken Julie. She opened her eyes and then jumped back a bit. The thing that had startled her was the creature standing before her.
"Answer me! What are you doing here?" the creature yelled, with its whiny high-pitched voice.
Kevin began to stir and then he too opened his eyes. He quickly moved over by his girlfriend (as far away from the creature as possible, in other words) and put his arm around her. "What is that thing?" he asked Julie.
