The room was very large, but not very furnished. There were two bedrooms, each with two beds. But there wasn't really much else. There wasn't even a TV, not that Jeremy expected to be able to watch anything.
Lizzy fell back onto one of the beds and smiled. "Ahhh," she breathed. "This room might be really sparse, but this is the most comfortable bed I think I've ever been on."
Jeremy pushed down on the bed, feeling the softness of it. "Maybe that has something to do with what I said before the hotel was created. I think I said something about wanting to rest. I'm sure that ... uh, Lizzy?" he asked, noticing that she was fast asleep. Wow, he thought. That really must be some bed.
He walked to one of the windows and looked out onto the desert. And besides the immediate area, the desert was all he could see. It was nothing but sand all the way to the horizon. Just like what the hotel man said, the sun was going down, making the sky appear a deeper red.
Maybe it was time to tell Seth and Sarah about the room.
