The snake-man stepped closer, thrusting his blood-stained spear deep into Jeremy's new beastly body. "Uhhh," he growled in pain, as a blue liquid poured from his wound. (That settled it - the blue blood on the snake-man's spear did belong to the creatures that Jeremy and his friends had turned into.)
"Nuh!" one of the female beasts yelled. Jeremy wasn't sure, but he thought it might have been Sarah. "Stup ut!" She ripped into the snake-man with claws of fury, tearing the snake-man's head from his scaly body.
The two remaining beasts who weren't hurt looked on in shock, not quite believing that their friend had just committed murder, even if it was in self defense.
The beast that had killed the snake-man turned and approached Jeremy, who was now lying on the snow-filled ground. "Juh-ruh-muh. Uh yuh ukuh?" she asked.
But Jeremy was out. The wound was severe enough to knock him unconscious.
