The purple light only lasted a few seconds, but when it was gone, something was definitely different, because Dawn was no longer behind the counter. Instead she was sitting at the table across from Brandon, the man who ordered the fish. She looked down and saw a bowl of chili on the table in front of her.

"How did I get here?" she asked, but it wasn't her voice. It was Donna's.

Bobby looked down at himself, then up at the woman who sat across from him. A bowl of chili sat in front of her. "Where's Melissa?" he asked, then turned and looked towards the back of the room, spotting his girlfriend with ... himself? "This isn't possible," he whispered. Then he yelled out his girlfriend's name, but she didn't turn around.

Lyndsay looked down at herself. She was behind the counter, but now she was sitting at a table, wearing different clothes. What happened? She looked up at the boy sitting across from her. She recognized him as one of the customers, a star high school athlete who came in with his girlfriend. But why was he eating with Lyndsay and not his girlfriend?

Abigail looked across the table at the teenage girl, all dressed in pink. What had happened? She was talking to her friend Grace, then there was an odd flash of purple light, and then she was sitting at a different table. Abigail looked across the room and saw Grace, but then she also saw herself. It was then that she looked down at herself and saw that she wasn't a woman, but instead a teenage boy. "This is the devil's work," she said, twisting her face at the sight of her "new" body and her "new" voice.

Grace came out from behind the counter and walked up to Abigail (who was now in Bobby's body). "Abigail?" she asked. Having Jerry's body and voice was all too strange for her.

Abigail (in Bobby's body) looked at Jerry. "Grace?"

"That's right. I don't know how it happened, but ..."

"I'm a woman," Brandon said (now in Dawn's body), looking down at his new female form, clothed in a waitress uniform.

"So am I," Jerry said (now in Lyndsay's body), touching all of his curves.

Lyndsay (in Melissa's body) jumped up out of her chair and grabbed the possessed waitress. "Don't you dare touch yourself. That's my body! Ugh, I always knew you were a dirty old man."

"Brandon?" Donna asked. She was now in Grace's body. One of the waitresses moved towards her and sat down next to her. "Brandon, is that you?"

"That's right. It's me," Brandon (in Dawn's body) said.

They were all very confused, but were slowly coming to terms with what had happened to them.

"Dude, this is so surreal," the woman named Abigail said. But it wasn't Abigail anymore. Now it was Ted the stoner.

"Where's Melissa?" Bobby (in Brandon's body) asked. She wasn't one of the ones in the room, so where was she?

Melissa looked down at herself. She was outside, behind the building underneath some sort of porch. How did she get there? At one moment she was talking with her boyfriend and then the next she was here. It appeared as though she was writing something in a diary, but she had no idea where the diary came from. She put it down and crawled out from underneath the porch. Once in the sunlight, she got a better look at herself and was horrified. Her skin was pale and she wore this very gothic black lace dress with a black leather underbust corset and black boots. How did she become this way? As she moved towards the building, she caught a reflection of herself in a nearby window, but it wasn't her reflection. It was some other girl.

Sydney became disoriented. She was writing in her diary when suddenly she was in a different location. She looked around and saw that it was a bathroom. She looked down at herself and was confused when she saw that her clothes were different. But not just that. She was no longer a girl. She was a guy! She felt something pricking her arm and saw that it was a needle. She pulled it out and looked at it, giggling a bit. And still feeling woozy, she stood up and left the room.
