David grabbed a hold of him and shook him. "Tim! Snap out of it!" But it did no good. Whatever kind of trance he was in, it was super powerful.
Seeing that he might need some help, he ran out of the room to get Richard. Before he left, he saw that the object was no longer glowing.
"Richard!" David yelled out.
Richard was supervising the scientists who were still putting the fire out. He turned around and saw David, then quickly walked over to him. "What is it?"
"Something's wrong with Tim. I went back to the lab and saw that the object was glowing."
"It's glowing again?"
"I think it did something to Tim. He's stuck in a trance, or something."
Richard sprinted to the lab, and David followed.
