First day of School: Lumi discovers the wishing rock

While the alien woman observed teachers running the other way towards the gym to quell any further commotion, mostly dying down by now, she decided she could visit Max later.
For now, she had her new job to look forward to. As she slowly strut over towards the direction of the school's offices, her heel clacked on something below. "Hmm?"
Stepping back in an almost monotonous fashion, Lumi looked down and plucked whatever she'd stepped on - rock of some kind? Forgettable. Functionally useless.
She was many things, a scientist, an assassin, a tactician and soldier, an infiltrator and a conqueror. But a geologist she'd hardly say as such. Lumi grasped the stone in her
hand and moved on, in truth unaware of the power it possessed.
