After Charlie left the tunnel, he looked around. There was nothing but rock everywhere. He looked up at the sky. It was impossible, right? The sky couldn't have been purple. His eyes must have been playing tricks on him.
But when he climbed out of the rocky pit, he saw that it wasn't just the sky that was different. The whole world was different.
On the horizon he saw what looked like futuristic city. And just above it, in the sky, he saw a ringed planet. As impossible as it seemed, Charlie was on another planet. An alien planet.
But how did he get there? Did it have something to do with him having amnesia?
A rustling of branches coming from behind him broke him out of his thoughts. He looked left and right, searching for a hiding spot. He really didn't want to come up against the aliens on this world. They probably looked hideous, just like in all those sci-fi movies he had seen. And it was probably a good idea that he didn't get found. He saw movies where innocent aliens were experimented on. Only on this world, Charlie was the alien. And he had no intention of letting himself be the object of an autopsy.
Seeing a nearby tree, he immediately dashed behind it. Then he cautiously peeked around it, to catch a glimpse of the locals.
